Sedriano (Mi) - Via Fagnani

Master plan and restoration program - 65.000 mc.

1996

The building and town regeneration plan by Studio Ticozzi along with fellow architect Milella is completed by residential and business premises in the two biggest lots (L-shaped building looking onto the SS11 road and sloping building set back to form a large communal park area). The main façade on the present Via Fagnani, in face brick on the lower storeys and light yellow render on the higher floors, reflects the old sky line of the spinning mill which had been abandoned for years and had two “small central towers” elevated over the linear roof line. All the façades of the buildings feature a regular pattern of deep loggias and large balconies. The terracotta roof reflects the material used in the nearby old centre of the town. (260 apartments and shops in the portico)
